Tent? tick.
Glitter? tick.
Two weeks worth of food? tick.
Glastonbury Festival is back, and love it or hate it everybody's talking about it. Five days of cider-fuelled nonsense and dramatic live performances -- I'm here for it. However, the last time I went to Glastonbury Festival I was but a mere teenage vegetarian who was more than happy to survive on cheesy chips, breakfast baguettes in order to soak up all the apple cider. I knew there would be food available (although it was normally just their normal dish sans the meat , but hey ho).
This time I packed my rucksack with as many cereal bars and pasta dishes to feed a family of four for a week. I didn't know if there would be anything I could eat! I thought, given the popularity of the festival that there would probably be something, maybe in the Green Peace field? But essentially, Michael Eavis (the creator of Glastonbury festival) is a dairy farmer and is totally within his right to not want to provide vegan food.
Yet, there was no only food I could eat, but a variety of food options!
Here is a quick list of a couple of the vegan food options I found whilst trying to get glitter out of my hair. Obviously, this is not a comprehensive list as Glastonbury Festival is massive and I prioritised trying to get to the front of Busted over trekking across the entire festival for vegan street food.
